In 2008, Michael graduated from Indigo Sudbury Campus where he discovered his passion for the arts including film + television, acting, directing, writing, music and painting. Hence in 2009 he decided to become an actor. His most recent TV role is on Ron E. Scott’s hit series Blackstone. He stars as Momo, a wild and reckless youth who considers himself untouchable as he bullies other teens and persuades them to join in his bad behavior. Additionally, Michael continues to create, write and appear in several comedy sketches on Youtube.
Michael serves as a motivational speaker to young people and enjoys speaking at various organizations on topics such as alcohol & drug addiction, culture and spirituality. In his spare time, Michael volunteers at the Edmonton Young Offender Centre as an oskâpêwis (helper) for Ceremonies as well as teaches the youth to drum and sing. “I believe in passing on the spirituality and knowledge to our youth, helping them to find their personal identity. I share with them my achievements and what I have done and try to help people find faith in themselves and what they do, and let them know that anything is possible”. As Michael continues to pursue his career in acting, he preserves his strong roots within the Traditional Ceremonies of the Sundance. He has been honored with these rights after completing four years with the Blood Tribe.
